Why does it have to require so much effort to stay healthy and fit?

Many people say "why must I have to put so much effort and daily commitment to be healthy?"

There are really high standard that needs to be met to stay healthy. When I mean high standards, I mean it requires so much commitment, constant and daily effort in order to reach the "healthy and fit" status.

  1. It actually takes LESS effort to stay fit, than to START getting fit. It’s the law of inertia. If you imagine trying to move a huge boulder, it would be really hard to get moving, but once it’s rolling, it’s SO much easier. Your body is like that. That’s why, if you quit…it hurts to re-start, and quit and re-start…once in the flow, it’s actually easier.

    Do things your enjoy instead of things you hate, even skipping rope, or just walking, try playing at a playground sometime and you’ll see how the kids keep fit too. I also think music is a great motivator, at least for me. Get your MP3 out.
