Why do rabbits lose their first litter most of the time?
My rabbit had babies and they all ended up dying within a day of being born. They weren't born in the nesting box, but I soon after put them in there. Anyways, Yup, I just wanted to know what reasons there are for why a lot of first litters die. Thanks

It could be a variety of things, the mother may not have received the right nutrients during pregnancy. Also it could just be the simple fact that she’s not looking after them once they’re born, some animals just don’t make good parents. If it keeps happening I would suggest having her checked out by the vet.
