  1. in an old prizza box

  2. You know those big plastic stroage bins? That could actually be the cage. Tons of people use that because it’s cheap and bigger than the cages from pet stores. Take the lid and cut a very large hole in the top and put screen there for ventilation.
Make sure to buy some treats, a wheel (silent spinner or you will not get any sleep), proper food, and dust-free bedding. Hamsters love hay as well and you can get a lot for just a few dollars.

  3. You can get a box and put holes in it. Usually, that’s what I do.

  4. you can put it in a little box closed(be sure you make holes for air) then you can put her some water in a mini plate this will probably help :D you can also put an little pillow where it can sleep.you can give it dried carrots(grated) corn and hay 4 their diet :)

  5. I would put it in a plastic storage container until you can get a cage.

  6. Well, you shouldn’t put it in a cardboard box, that’s for sure lol. It’ll be out of there pretty quick! xD

I would put it in a large storage bin, like someone suggested. You could use an old blanket or some sort of sheet for it to keep its paws warm. Get a tissue box or cut out a door in a plastic container and put it in the bin or whatever you can find to put it in that’s NOT made out of cardboard. Give it a couple toilet paper tubes (minus the toilet paper). Give it some fruits and vegetables (carrots, sweet peppers, celery, apple slices…) to keep it content for now. (Unsalted peanuts are good, too.) Give it a dish of water.

You shouldn’t have gotten a hamster without all the hamster stuff O.o

    Anyway lol, GOOD LUCK! :D

  7. If you have sawdust put a bit of sawdust in a box with a lif and some holes on top or just put the hamster in without the sawdust and Just dont leave The Hamster in thier to long.

  8. If you have any plastic storage tubbies, those work really well. Just make sure that if your hamster can jump out of it, you keep the lid closed and keep a close-eye when the lid isn’t on. Most of them have built-in air holes, but check to make sure. I would strongly advise against putting it in a cardboard box, as rodents can and will chew their way out of these very easily.

That’s all I can think of! If you’re still at a loss, just look around your house for anything you think is suitable.

  9. Why did you get a hamster if you don’t have a cage, food or bedding? This should all be done before getting a pet. Your hamster needs food immediately.

I suggest going shopping for supplies, like today. You’ll need a water bottle soon of your hamster will dehydrate. Until you return from shopping you could keep it in a storage bin, large Tupperware bin, or some sort of makeshift play pen. Make sure what ever he is in has proper ventilation, is large enough, has a water dish and some food, and rip up some paper towels for bedding.

  10. You shouldnt buy a pet unless you are prepared to take care of it first. that was very irresponsible to get a hamster without having a cage for it.
