What made the hot water in my bathtub quit running?
I have an older Moen faucet and when I turned the hot water on it ran for a about 20 seconds then quit. The rest of the hot water faucets in the house work fine. I tried again and the hot water would not come out. The cold water was just fine. What could have happened to just the hot side? It does not leak but water will not come out. Can anyone help?

The Moen Cartridge may be clogged with debris. To check this, you will need to turn off the water, take off the trim, pull out the copper retaining pin (be carefull not to drop it in the wall) and pull the cartridge straight out. Clean or replace the cartridge and replace. Call Moen and they will help you out and send you a free part if they think it necessary. I put their link below.
