What kind of leg protection should i get?

I am just wondering what type(s) of leg protection i should get for my Thoroughbred mare. We jump and i'm planning on taking her all the way to higher jumps and eventing. So what protection does she need? Thanks!

  1. She doesn’t *need* leg protection, but it is a great idea if the horses legs are going to be put under a lot of stress.

    Well, there’s plenty of kinds-
    -Splints and bell boots-

    -Professional Choice boots and wraps-

    -Classic Equine boots, sprints, wraps-

I personally would get the No Turn bell boots from Classic Equine, and either some regular splints, or the Professional Choice SMB boots. There’s also the Classic Equine Legacy boots, and I think they give the tendons a little more support than Professional Choice, but they can wear within six months.

Don’t forget to do ‘working horse’ supplements to keep your horse in top conditions!

    Hope I helped!
