What is a good budget camera with a low shot to shot time?
I'm looking for a budget, point and shoot digital camera with a fast first shot and shot to shot time. Preferably under $150 and 12MP or higher. We are trying to keep up with the kids! Thanks.

Since all P&S cameras have some kind of shutter lag, you will have to learn this technique or up your budget to around $700 and get a dSLR

Up the budget to a DSLR.
You could look at a bridge camera by Canon/Nikon, but even they will have some sort of shutter lag, whilst not being as slow as a regular P&S.
If you really want a seemless flow between photos a DSLR is the only way to go.

Kodak z915 has a very quick start and Pic to pic time. We where driving 60 MPH. We went around a corner and saw a huge tractor with tracks 3 foor wide, I’m a guy, I must have a picture of the big rig to show off. In about 10-15 seconds I’d rattled off about 13 shots. It was even a “mostly cloudy day” and the auto-focus reacted quick. 10MP, 10X optical zoom, good videos (edit pix and vids on camera as well).
