  1. Every single one is either deluded or lying, and it’s almost always the latter.

  2. Frauds, one and all.

  3. Load of sh!t. They just have a bit of knowledge of human nature, therefore their answers can be interpreted in a lot of different ways, to make sure they always end up as the “right” thing.

  4. Mostly it’s nonsense but I’ve had two experiences that shocked me by the information they could not possibly have…..yet they did.

  5. They are used by the devil and I stay away from them.

  6. It’s not completely bogus; some people are sensitive to subtle influences, but, generally, psychics and spiritualists are out and out frauds trying to acquire money and power.

A person who is sensitive knows they are often misguided, however insightful they may be in some instances. It’s not something you can guarantee and really should not be charging money for or assuming authority about.

  7. Many actually believe they have a gift others just do it for money.

It is all 100% bunkum regardless of what they believe.

I think the skeptics society has a million dollar prize still standing for any person who can prove psychic ability

no one has claimed the prize yet !

  8. I always thought it was bogus, but when I visited a lady who told me things that were currently happening in my life and the thing that were gonna happen (which already did) I was like WOW! However, I do believe in imposter’s, who take advantage to take your money. I also don’t like to practice anything that is voodoo. I’m very into praying, natural herbs for cleansing home & body, and anything to attract positive energy into my life :)

  9. My experience is that when you ask them how it works, they both tell you to sod off.

  10. Christian

  11. well, none of them can seem to pass a simple test. there was an experiment done back in the 90′s, terminally ill people where given 25 digit pin numbers to memorize before they died, the only other person who knew the numbers was the person conducting the test. all the psychic had to do was tell the tester a 25 digit pin number that matched one of his test subjects memorized numbers, this was done with many number for many terminally ill people and many psychics, not one got a number correct or even half correct.

its all bogus, and demonstrably so.

  12. Penn and Teller are the better than every alleged “real” psychic.

  13. Bogus or deluded.

Certain cultures are more prone to believe in them than others, and so the position of such people can be quite prominent in those social contexts. As these cultures are often quite religious, the power of such spiritualists is often regarded as similar to a priesthood.

I think it’s all nonsense, but the confirmation bias that is common in religion can lead many people to believe in them, to the extent of being deeply psychologically affected by their pronouncements.

I’ve never seen any evidence of any genuinely gifted people, only anecdotal claims.

  14. Some are truely gifted and real.
    Some are lying fakes.

  15. my thought form being a ( fake ) psychic ( who didn’t hurt people with, or charge for, his white motivational lies) is the pretending to be a phychic effectively in that you will be believed and recommended is very easy

people who want to believe are easy to convince.

i do not believe anyone can predict the future and as we know the $1,000,000 prize for a practicing phsychic who is accurate under scientific test conditions remains unclaimed in the several years it’s been on offer.

  16. I’ve been approached by spiritualists twice since my accident. They want to use me as some kind of bridge to dead people.
I said OK, how much do you pay?
    End of conversation.

  17. Hotling psychics are entertainers. Same as calling one of those #’s to talk dirty to someone.

Can’t say all are bogus like I see some here doing. But I do find it amusing that people think this type of generalization makes it absolute truth rofl

Oh no, thumbs down! lol Can’t stand the honesty, huh…. pity. Your loss. =)

  18. personal, not much
    nothing exciting, kidna rubbish
but, recently i knwo soemone who went to see one, and who says it was pretty good
ie this person really did know things, you cant know
    not just standard things
but personal, things, i wanna see this person myself

i think most, are frauds and idiots, able to manipulate
but, i also think there is possibly to probably the rare gifted person, just like we have talents for say, for music, or art, i dont see a reason our brain couldnt or shouldnt have one for ‘osychic’ abilites

  19. So many negative answers!
Let me say that once I did meet a good psychic, an old gentleman who was famous in our small town for his accurate predictions.
I was a teenager, and my girl friend and I decided we’d go there to this man’s house for a reading. It only cost five dollars (this was in the sixties) and my friend wanted to know if she would marry the boy she loved.
She came out of her reading a little disgusted, because the psychic had told her she wouldn’t marry the boy.
“He says I’ll marry an airplane pilot!” she said.
    Well, guess what.
She married an engineering student who went on to eventually become a Colonel in the Strategic Air Command.
