What are the features to look for when looking for strain in any sandstone thin section?
I Need to show strain in a thin section what do i look for, what are the features that shoe strain?

I would expect a sandstone that shows strain to have either (a) fractures within its clasts, all of which would point in the same direction or the grains would be (b) elipsoidal, distorted in the direction of strain depending on whether the rock had endured brittle deformation (as in the former case – a) or plastic deformation (as in the latter case – b).
If the sandstone is matrix supported, there may also be strain marks & possibly some fine mineral inclusions in the same direction as the clast fractures or the elipsoid development.
