Hey i have a ten month old staffy bitch. She is my pride and joy. i am watchin a year and a half old staffy male at the moment for a friend and when we first got him he kept trying to mate with my pup but she would just snap at him. Now she isn't and she is bleeding so i think this is her coming into season for the first time. Is it possible that the male has already mated with her or am i ok? I know i need to keep her away from him while shes in season but is it to late? I believe at 10 month old she is FAR TO YOUNG to be having puppies? Does anyone know if this is possible or not ??

I know the dogs are not for first time owners but I want one regardless, done the research and everything. I do not want to foster one, I just want to go to a place where I can buy one and it will be permanently mines without someone bothering me for it.
