I've been worrying about this for a while. I've been studying what I need to know to get my Linux + certification, and in order to take the cert exam I need to have 6-12 months of Linux network administration, but I don't know who would hire an uncertified network administrator.

I'm writing an essay for my application to a secondary school. The essay question is "What experience has had the biggest impact on who you are today?" I have a basic idea of what i can write for the body of my essay but I need help with a good starter and introduction.
