May I receive more points for more effort placed on answering questions?

Questions can be answered with large range of effort, from a little to a lot.

When I respond with a little I could have less reward points given to me, than when I respond with a lot.

When I respond with a lot I could have more reward points given to me, than when I respond with a little.

  1. Only if they choose it as a best answer.

  2. HAHAHA NO EFFORT IN THIS ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. You only get more then 2 points if the asker picks you as best answer.
Why worry about points, anyway? we cant eat them or buy anything with them.

  4. you get 10 or nothing. plain and simple. you probably get more of nothing than 10 for best answer. lol

  5. when you respond with a lot of info,
they person asking the question is more likely to choose your answer, and thats how you get the 10 points.
and if you answer the question as a simple,

    no.

then your not going to get the points.
so in a way, if you dont use effort, you get less points, as in none.
and if you use effort, your more likely to get em.
    :)

  6. Obviously !

you only get more points if your chosen as best answer (10)

2 points for each answer ,

3 points for choosing best answers.

  7. You get the same amount of points no matter what you answer. You only get more points if you are chosen best answer.

  8. You only get 2 points for answering. No matter if you answer it seriouis or just doing it to get points.

If they like your answer then they might choose yours and give you best answer.
You’ll get 10 points for that!!

    Good luck

  9. nOOO
u could write as much/as little as you want you still get 2 pts.
it depends on the persons who asked the question to choose you as the best answer, then you could get more points
soooo….choose me as your best answer LOL

  10. If you answer with more effort- and the asker find it helpful- they would probably select your answer as Best Answer- which gives 10 points, the max points in the scoring system you can get.

And if other users’ find your answer good, they would probably rate your answers- thumbs up- and then if it is selected as Best Answer- you will get additional 1 point for each thumbs up you received…

So when you give high quality answers, it certainly improves your chance of getting more points…

    But,
For answering a question- no matter how much effort you take- will just give you 2 points.. because you may think that you gave a high effort answer- but if the asker feels that it doesn’t answer their question well or if some other person answered it better- then obviously you didn’t help much by taking much effort…
