well if they can talk and read yet you could show them a picture with a tiny detail in it like a picture of a man and then theres another different looking man behind him peeking in and then let them study it and then a few hours later ask them like what color tie that other man was wearing and if they remember they probably have it or give them a sheet of paper with a lonf poem on it and ask the to read it a couple of times not to memerize it but just to read it and then ask them what it said or what one particular line said that might do the trick. i hope i helped and good luck photographic memory is really cool.
Eidetic memory or photographic memory is more likely in small children than adolescents or adults. Some people think all children have it at the stages of learning a language, perhaps not perfect and perhaps not all the time and probably not under control.
To check for it make a list of 10 numbers or words and read it to the child 2 or 3 times. Wait for 2 or 3 minutes and see if the child can repeat them in order. If the child can read at all make the list written down and let the child read through it a few times.
Make the list longer if the child gets through the test.
(I had a nearly photographic memory as a child but with erratic control, my last real and useful episode was during a college test and I could see a clear projection of 1 1/2 pages of hand written notes, with spelling errors. I was able to “project” it during the test and immediately after when I was challenged by the proctor.)
