How to move a free space partition onto the c drive?

I have a Dell Inspiron running Windows 7. I installed ubuntu in dual boot but deleted it and the 80gb I partitioned to ubuntu is now a free space partition. How can I take this free space and put it onto my C drive?

  1. The best way to do that would be from Ubuntu itself (the LiveCD mode). From there, run the GNOME Partition Editor (gparted) and you should be able to edit your Windows partition, resizing it to fill the unpartitioned space.
