How much is a low/medium condition saddle worth?
I am going to see if someone I know will be willing to sell their saddle. They do not ride anymore and it is just siting in their garage. It is in "alright" condition. The right stirrup is broken but it can be popped back in. It isn't very shiny but it doesn't matter to me. I don't know the brand but that also doesn't matter. So how much do you think they would be willing to sell it to me for?

Why don’t you just ask them?

It really depends on the brand of the saddle. Not all saddles are just randomly made.
There are companies like…
-Circle Y
-Double T
-Circle S
-Wintec
-Tucker
Usually the Circle Y is a lot of money (usually in the thousands). I suggest looking at the saddle and looking at the brand of it. Then see the prices. If its in a pretty good condition I would probably think she would subtract about 20% of the saddle’s value.
It also depends if its a specially made saddle like for gaited horses or Arabians. Usually those cost more too.
