Take him to the vet NOW. It only takes a tiny amount of chocolate to kill a small dog like yours. Call in ahead, so they’re prepared, and GO GO GO !

It depends on your dogs weight and the amount of chocolate he ate… (there are many different sizes of chocolate bunnies)
plus the kind of chocolate it was…… (white chocolate for instance has no “real” chocolate in it, while dark chocoate contains more of the stuff poisonous to dogs than milk chocolate does)
Signs of chocolate poisoning in dogs include vomiting, diarrhea, excessive urination, hyperactivity followed by depression and coma, seizures, and death.
Does he have diarreha? because it doesn’t sound at all like he is hyperactive if he is just laying there….
it is a good sign that he vomited up the chocolate, but maybe you should call and check with your vet just to be sure he’s okay….
Emergency care for a dog ingesting chocolate includes inducing vomiting and administration of charcoal to reduce absorption of the chocolate remaining in the stomach and intestines.
Drugs to stabilize the heart are needed as well as intravenous fluids and drugs to prevent shock. Mortality is high and care for these cases is intensive and expensive.
Hope this helps and I hope your little sweetie is OK….
