How can I get free apps without putting in my credit card number?
I got an I touch 4 but I have no apps. I don't want to purchase any apps though, I just want them free. When I try and go select it I have to create an account as I create it it asks for my credit card number and won't let me move on until it's filled in. If I put in
My credit card numbers will I be charged even if I only want a free app?

You’re only charged for the apps that you purchase. They keep your CC number on file so it’s seamless and easy to do so. Which, naturally, makes users leery.
But, luckily, it appears Apple made a way for you to create an account with using your CC. Details here.
