can you strain a soup and still keep its flavors?
I am making a clear soup, but i have garlic and spices in it that won't mix in. If i strain it, will it keep its flavors?

I promise it will taste the same. With any soup you make you are actually supposed to strain it before service. One reason is that it is not good eye appeal and you don’t want any large pieces of anything in a soup. Another reason is so that certain spices will not over power the dish if left in, So please strain your soup.

If you’ve all ready cooked the soup…then yes you can strain it and it will taste the same. After you strain it, just taste it and see if anything needs to be added back.
