Can a female dog get depression from her first heat cycle?
My dog is 6 months old and she just started her first heat cycle a week ago. She is on the first stage. She was fine the first 2 days but after that she started losing weight, she got lethargic and has very little appetite.

A b1tch’s hormones can be out of whack because of the heat cycle. This puppy is a prime candidate for spaying as soon as this heat cycle’s finished. This isn’t normal behaviour.

Dogs don’t get depression from normal bodily functions. I would speak to your vet. This isn’t normal behaviour or symptoms.
