Are psychics real? If so, can you read me through a Yahoo Answers post?

I've seen a few members claim to be able to read you through an email or post but I dont understand how you can interpret someone without being in their presence.

I know people who have gone to psychics and they predicted # of children, spouse and many other things that have turned out to be true.
