Are psychics real? And if so how can you tell a real one from a fake one?
I kind of believe in psychics and have been thinking about seeing one, however, there is always the chance of visiting a fake one and getting ripped off. So I'd like some opinions, thanks.

No, they are not real.
They are all scam artists.

Real psychics don’t use 1-900 numbers

How can you tell a real one? Well there ain’t any so that is impossible. But if there were then the proof would be them giving a straight answer about something that didn’t have much chance of coming true… and it comes true exactly as they say, and even then i would remain skeptical. But if say a psychic said there will be a massive volcano in such and such place on this day on this hour, and then it happens that would be pretty convincing.

There is a certainty of visiting a fake one and a 100% chance of getting ripped off. They are all fake. Human beings don’t possess super powers. It’s that simple. It’s the real world and not a comic book.

No, Most of them are scammers after your money and not worth the time of day.

Much more attention should be put upon spiritual growth than harnessing powers that can easily corrupt. As the monks usually don’t discuss the so called “siddhis”.

I never had a helpful encounter with mediums, tarot cards, dowsing rocks, tea readings or horoscopes. The answers are always to vague to be useful. Often times the “psychic” will appeal to your own self doubt or vanity. Sometimes they can even suggest that there is a problem when there clearly isn’t. If you do go to a psychic do it for fun not for answers! ^_^
